** DO NOT CLICK ON 'START AN INQUIRY'** You must follow the instructions below if interested. Shay is a very gentle and calm doodle. She does not shed. She is housetrained. Could you get more perfect?! She gets along with other dogs but would be fine as an only pup too. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and then is your shadow and best friend. She weighs around 45lbs and will not get any bigger. When we got her, she was super matted and so we shaved her - before and after pics are shown so you can see what her fur looks like! All of our pets are located in Houston TX and will not be transported until adopted.  You will get to video chat with the pup once/if your application is approved.  We are not first-come, first-served but rather strive to match dogs to their best fit homes!  If you are interested, you MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION at www.recycleddogsrescue.org.  The adoption fee is $850 + transport (if applicable).  We cannot guarantee breed, size, or behavior!

Story
THEO is a very sweet and playful mixed breed dog. He's around 3 mo old and 7lbs but will likely be 20lbs full grown. He's very active and loves to give kisses. He gets along well with other dogs and appears non-reactive to cats (although he does not live with any). He would be fine with small children and adults alike. He enjoys chew toys and bones of all kinds and adores wrestling with anyone who will give him the time of day! He is NOT pottytrained so be prepared to deal with all things puppy (housetraining, chewing, etc). He is a very active puppy and would do best with someone with a lot of time and enregy! He is fostered in Houston TX and will not be transported until adopted. His fee is $850. You may pick him up in Texas or we can discuss flying him to you. The first step in adoption is to fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org.

Story
Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. His fee is $850 - he is located in Houston TX and will transported upon completed adoption. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
"He is easy to care for! Cuddi has been a joy to have at our house. He is so sweet, playful, funny, smart, a constant companion and listens well. Despite his anxiety, he is quite good on his leash and can calmly pass dogs from a distance, only barking if startled by another dog barking first. He does amazing free roaming and sleeping on his own. He met 4 family members within the first 7 days and after his barking welcome, he loves and plays with them all. Cuddi is an incredible companion and if we could, we would have adopted him immediately." - Just a few of many praises sung by Cuddi's foster. Cuddi is a lovable senior shepherd that's been looking for a family since February. He is a Special Care pet due to arthritis and anxiety, which are both well managed with medication. Cuddi should be the solo dog in the home because of his fear towards other dogs. He doesn't let that stop him from enjoying his walks, though, easily practicing skills such "Look at That" to pass right by. Cuddi is smart; he knows sit, eye contact, and down, too, and is potty trained. He still has plenty of heart and play left in him, too, a big fan of fetch and toys. Cheese, naps, and snuggles are a few more of his favorites. Please take our senior sweetie home! Thinking about adding a friend to your family? This sweet guy is currently available for both adoption and foster and would love to meet you! Interesting in fostering? Email foster@anticruelty.org to let the foster team know! If you would like to meet Cuddi and potentially adopt, stop by our Adoption Center at 510 N. LaSalle to meet them and all of their friends. We offer same-day adoptions, free parking, and our team will guide you through every step of the adoption or foster process. Story
Meet Luna! This senior gal is looking for a quiet, calm home to retire in. Luna lived in her previous home for all of her 8 years so it may take her some time to adjust to a new situation. Sweet Luna is gentle, polite on leash, and very potty trained. She doesn't make a mess at home, but she may be vocal when she misses her companions - Luna loves to be around her people all the time. Luna is a Special Care pet due to needing long term medication for anxiety. Her adopter will receive a discount for services with our recommended vet behaviorist. Luna has all the love in the world to give in exchange for a home to live out her golden years. If you have a soft spot for a sensitive soul, adopt our Luna today! This pet has been patiently waiting for a family for longer than we'd like, making them a special member of our Length of Stay Program. To help them start their next chapter, they'll go home with plenty of goodies to make the transition easier, such as supplies, enrichment items, or other adoption perks. We know their perfect match is out there—we just can't wait for them to find each other! Thinking about adding a friend to your family? This sweet lady is currently available for both adoption and foster and would love to meet you! Interesting in fostering? Email foster@anticruelty.org to let the foster team know! Story
Meet Fiona! This absolute lovebug recently arrived and is already stealing hearts. Her eyes that plead for attention, her big belly that demands scratches...this girl is just the best! In her previous home, Fiona lived with another dog, the handsome Mufasa who is also here awaiting a new home! They seemed to get along very well, so it's very possible, with an appropriate intro, that Fiona could have another canine companion in the future! Fiona also lived with kids and, in true pittie fashion, was a total nanny dog and loved to play with her kiddos. This girl has so much love to give, could you provide? Thinking about adding a friend to your family? This sweet lady is currently available for both adoption and foster and would love to meet you! Interesting in fostering? Email foster@anticruelty.org to let the foster team know! If you would like to meet Fiona and potentially adopt, stop by our Adoption Center at 510 N. LaSalle to meet them and all of their friends.
