Story
Digger is a petite, 4 yr old female pit mix that came to us from TX. We think she could have some Jack Russell in her too! Originally found roaming in southern Texas , this girl lived in an outside kennel for several months in southern TX.  She is so happy to now be in a foster home. She is housebroken and happy to hang out on a dog bed while her foster parents work.  She loves squeaky toys and napping. She needs to be the only pet in the home. Digger is being fostered in Southern CT. ##795053##

Story
Rocky & his running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. He has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! He is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, he is a loving playful pup. Rocky is a completely gorgeous guy, both inside and out! He is full of love and is always in a carefree good mood. His furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. If you are interested in learning more about this really sweet and deserving boy, please feel free to text or call Alecia Clark, @ 901-486-2850. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. His adoption fee of $275 includes his vaccinations, neuter, microchip and his transport to his new furever home. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure he is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.

Story
Meet Copper, an adorable two-year-old, 25 lb. Border Terrier mix with all the added benefits of an adult dog in a super cute and small package. Just look at that underbite! Sadly, his parents just got divorced and abandoned Copper, leaving him homeless. He is heartbroken and has had a really hard time with the loss but we promised Copper we’d find him a family that will truly love and treasure him furever! This little sweetheart is a well-mannered boy who wants nothing more than to be with his people. Copper loves all humans but especially gets attached to men so he must be adopted into a home that has a male family member. He is currently in foster with six other dogs and gets along well with all of them. He is also friendly with cats. Copper loves to play and can easily entertain himself on his own. Being adopted to a home with a furry friend would make him happy though! Copper knows his name, comes when called, knows “sit” and “stay,” and takes treats gently. He’s housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and is happiest just being around others. Due to being abandoned by his previous owners, Copper does have extreme separation anxiety so he needs to go to a home where someone is home often as he can’t be left alone for long periods of time. A fenced yard is also a must. His adoption fee is $400 and Copper is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. Story
Meet Jax, a handsome one-year-old, 45 lb. Dutch Shepherd/Mountain Cur mix with a stunning brindle coat and amazing pointy ears. He was found as a stray in rural North Carolina and ended up in the shelter where he has spent the last four months waiting to be rescued. Now he's in Connecticut ready to find his furever family! Jax is a friendly boy with a big, playful personality! He is a smart cookie and is motivated to learn new things - he has been doing great with training. Jax loves going on walks and is curious about his surroundings. He would make an excellent running partner and adventure buddy! Jax is energetic and enthusiastic about life, so it is important that he has daily opportunities for play, exercise, and enrichment. While we don't know what Jax's past looked like, we believe he may have previously been abused as he easily startles and can be fearful (he doesn't like the sound of cans opening or smoking). He gets very excited when he sees other pups and wants to play with them so another playful doggy pal would make him very happy. He walks great on leash and is both house and crate trained. Jax must go to a home with a fenced yard and to owners dedicated to training and helping to build his confidence. Jax’s adoption fee is $400 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful brindle boy, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
