Story
Meet Skye: From Humble Beginnings to Her Brightest Future! Skye’s story didn't start out in the best place. Found in a trailer park, her early life was far from perfect. She was forced to grow up way too fast, having an "oops" litter at a very young age. But despite a tough start to life, this resilient 2-year-old has refused to let her past define her. Since coming into her wonderful foster home, Skye has been doing absolutely amazing! She is learning what it truly means to be a pampered, beloved pet, and she is soaking up every single second of it. Her Favorite Things & Personality A Social Butterfly: Skye absolutely loves playing with other dogs! She is incredibly social and finds so much joy in canine companionship. Enthusiastic Companion: At just 2 years old, she has a beautiful, youthful spirit. Because she’s so happy to finally be part of the action, she can get a bit excited when her playmates get excited—she’s just a joyful girl who loves to match the room's happy energy! Resilient & Eager to Please: Skye is proving to be a quick learner in her foster home, showing off just how smart, adaptable, and loving she really is. The Perfect Home for Skye Skye would thrive in a home that can give her the stability, love, and guidance she missed out on early on. She would love a canine sibling to play with and help her burn off some of that happy young-dog energy! Because she can get swept up in the excitement when other dogs get revved up, a family who is happy to work on basic manners and focus-training during playtime would be a perfect match. After starting life with so little, Skye has an incredible amount of love left to give. Could you be the forever family this sweet girl has been waiting for?

Story
Chill (or Chilly) is exactly what his name promises — a laidback island boy from Aruba with a heart as warm as the Caribbean sun. He was found on the side of the road with a deep cut and road rash, likely grazed by a car. Thanks to great care, hes now fully healed and ready to melt some hearts. Chill is about 1.5 years old, calm, sweet, and wonderfully gentle with kids and other dogs. He walks beautifully on the leash, is housebroken, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He's the kind of dog who settles right into your life — relaxed, affectionate, and grateful for every moment of kindness. If you're looking for a steady, loving companion who brings island level serenity to your home, Chill is your boy.

Story
Vaquero is a 5-year-old black mouth curr mix that weighs 46 lbs. He was found in October 2025, in some fields in a small town called Edinburg that is located along the Texas/Mexico border. When we got him, he had severe mange and was just in horrible shape. He had almost no hair, was so scared and was skin and bones. How someone could let a dog get like the shape Vaquero was in, is beyond us! He was SOO scared and looked like he was on deaths door. And now? Vaquero is a whole new dog. He has done a complete 180! This once shy boy that was very scared of humans is now always happy to see people and interact with anyone he comes across. He loves getting his pets and getting loved on. There are no long-term effects to what this boy went through, so don’t worry! He loves other dogs and is currently being fostered in a sanctuary along the Texas/Mexico border. This sanctuary is only a temporary place to house animals while we find them their forever homes. So small or big dogs, he gets along wonderfully with! Vaquero would do great in a home with older, gentle children as this boy, while he loves to play, he more love to relax and just hang out. He is very much a Netflix and chill type of dog. TV? Yes, please. Treats? Give him more. Nap? Say no more, he is already signed up and, in the bed, waiting. Vaquero has met kitties and does fine with them! He LOVES car rides and staring out the window as you’re driving. He is house trained. Please consider giving this boy the chance he has never had; a FOREVER home! This doggy is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on dewormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($495) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Story
Adora is a gorgeous, 22 lb, 1.5-year-old girl that absolutely loves love! She is considered full grown. Adora came from a local gas station along the Texas/Mexico border where she lived for what we think, almost her whole life. She was not spayed at the time, and she was brought to our attention from the employees who said a bunch of male dogs were always chasing her. We couldn’t let that go, and stepped in to get her safe at the beginning of July 2026. Adora is what the foster considers a perfect dog. Cats? Great with cats! Dogs? She loves other dogs but would be fine without other dogs! Leash Trained? She is leash trained! She would love a home with kids to play with and spend time with. What is a fun quirk about her? If she thinks you’re leaving, she will throw herself in front of you and roll on her back to guarantee she gets belly rubs before you go. She will ALWAYS make sure she gets her belly rubs in. Adora is calmer, but gets super excited with human attention. We think it’s because she has not had much attention living at that gas station. It’s so normal to see stray dogs in the area. Adora loves exploring and would be great as an adventure partner as well as a dog that can just hang out at home and in the backyard. If you live an apartment, please consider a lot of activity and/or even doggy daycare. She is such a Velcro girl, and is so loyal. She would be WONDERFUL with children. Adora is crate trained and working on mastering house training. A home who understands she needs some work, is a must. She knows how to sit and is very much a people pleaser. Loyalty is her middle name. Adora is always seeking attention from her humans. Someone home more often than not is preferred. Adora is spayed, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
