Sometimes life changes in ways we never expect. For Cristal, a family divorce meant that neither parent was able to keep her, and this sweet girl suddenly found herself in rescue and facing a world she didn’t understand.
Understandably, Cristal was sad at first. But with love, patience, and the comfort of a wonderful foster home, she has found her happiness again. Today, Cristal is thriving — and she’s ready for the next chapter of her story: a forever family who will love her for all the years to come. 🐾
Cristal is the kind of dog who makes an incredible housemate. She has excellent house manners, is fully house-trained, knows her basic commands, and can be trusted to stay home alone without a crate. At night, she sleeps soundly — although, if she had her way, she’d happily snuggle right into bed with you. ❤️
She may be a little reserved when meeting new people and can take some time to warm up. But once Cristal decides you’re her person, prepare yourself for a serious case of the “Velcro dog.” Once she trusts you, she is deeply devoted and will happily follow her person wherever they go.
And she’s always up for an adventure! Cristal loves hikes, exploring the outdoors, belly rubs, and simply spending quality time with her family. She doesn’t need anything fancy to be happy. If she’s with her people, she’s content. Whether it’s an outdoor adventure or a quiet evening at home, Cristal just wants to be part of the family.
Cristal would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention from her family without having to share it with another canine companion. Because she is a solid-sized girl with an enthusiastic play style, a home without very young children would likely be the best fit.
But most of all, Cristal is looking for something simple: someone who will choose her and never give up on her.
