Story
Meet Posey and Cash Two Cocker Spaniels, Double the Love ✨ Posey and Cash are two AKC-registered Cocker Spaniels who are as sweet as they are charming—and they’re ready to steal hearts. Posey is a three-year-old brown and white beauty weighing just 17 pounds. Petite, playful, and full of affection, she’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddle-time. Posey is fully house trained and kennel trained, and she’s been obsessed with fetch since she was six months old—it’s her absolute favorite thing in the world. She can be a little vocal when first meeting new people, making sure to announce her presence, but once she gets a good sniff, her walls come down fast. After that, she’s all love—belly rubs, cuddles, and sticking close to her people. Posey is wonderful with children, gentle with other animals, spayed, well-socialized, and has no aggressive tendencies whatsoever. Cash, a two-year-old sable Cocker Spaniel weighing 24 pounds, is a true gentleman with a playful streak. He’s incredibly smart, fully house trained and kennel trained, and thrives on routine. His favorite moment of the day? First thing in the morning—when he bursts outside with pure joy and zoomies like life couldn’t be better. Cash loves to play fetch and is athletic, happy, and eager to engage. Like Posey, he may greet strangers with a little yap at first, but once he’s had a moment to check things out, he turns into a total lovebug. He adores attention, cuddling, and being close to his humans. Cash is neutered, fantastic with kids, gentle with other animals, and has a beautifully balanced temperament. Together, Posey and Cash are playful, affectionate, a little chatty, and completely irresistible. They would thrive in  loving home, without other dogs, where they can get attention, playtime, and the companionship they crave. Story
Meet Rudolph Rudolph is a super sweet, two-year-old Lab mix who is ready for a fresh start and a forever home. He weighs about 52 pounds and has a friendly nature that makes him a joy to be around.  Rudolph likes kids and does well with other dogs. Because of his exuberance, he should be with older children. He does not get along with cats, so a cat-free home will be important for him. Despite a rough beginning, he has a loving disposition and shows how much he wants to connect with people. He even knows how to sit on command, which is a wonderful foundation to build on. Before rescue, Rudolph was living outdoors on his own and doing his best to survive. He was finally caught when he attempted to swipe a Walmart delivery order from someone’s porch, a moment that highlighted just how desperate he was for food and care. Thankfully, that chapter is behind him but he needs a family who has time for him. Rudolph is currently in boarding and available for adoption. He is looking for a loving family who will provide the stability, care, and affection he has been missing, so he never has to fend for himself again. Even though he is past the puppy age, Rudolph exhibits energetic puppy like behavior and will need a family committed to his training.  If you are looking for a loyal, kind-hearted companion with a memorable story and a lot of love to give, Rudolph may be the perfect addition to your family. To apply, go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application (use laptop or computer). Story
Meet Beetle! Beetle is a friendly, lovable Staffordshire Terrier mix who’s truly one of a kind. About 2 years old and weighing approximately 58 lbs, this handsome boy is neutered, house trained, and full of affection. Often described as “cat-like,” Beetle loves rubbing up against his people, sitting on you, and soaking up hugs. He’s extremely people-oriented and forms strong bonds with everyone he meets. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close and involved in daily life, Beetle is a perfect match. Beetle does well with other dogs and was previously housed with another dog, though they are not bonded. He would be happy as an only dog or with a new canine sibling. Because he is strong, a home with older children would be best. He enjoys bath time, would make a great hiking or adventure partner, and is still working on basic training. With structure, consistency, and love, Beetle will thrive. His owner couldn’t take care of him and Beetle is ready for the new forever home he deserves.  To apply to adopt, go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application on your laptop or computer. If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Meet Bart! Bart is a 3-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever (62 lbs) who is up to date on all vaccines and currently working on building confidence through training. He has a sensitive nature and can be unsure of new people at first, so slow, structured introductions are essential for him to feel safe.  While he does well with dogs, we are looking for a home where he will be your only puppy love. Because of this, Bart is looking for an *experienced* adopter who is committed to participating in training sessions before bringing him home, so he can build trust gradually. His trainers will also support the transition to set both Bart and his adopter up for success. Bart would do best in a calm, suburban or country home with adults only. Once he feels comfortable, this fella is incredibly loyal and forms a strong bond with his person. With patience, consistency, and continued training, he will make a deeply rewarding companion. Bart can’t wait to meet you!  He is waiting in boarding for his perfect forever home.  He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
