Meet Rockefeller a.k.a. the love bug. He is a 21 month old, fully house broken/crate trained Labrador. Rockefeller is a purebred AKC registered Black Lab. I adopted him from a wonderful responsible breeder based in NJ and IA. He is a ball of energy and loves to play with any and everyone. He is very obedient (sits, stays, comes when called) but needs a little more work on leash pulling. Another great thing about Rockefeller is he barely barks, which I hear is unusual for a lab. He is fully up to date on all vaccines. Great temperament and loves to cuddle (when he feels like it Ha!). Looking for a great person/family who will love this love bug. Unfortunately, do to circumstances in my personal life, I have to part with my handsome guy, so I am looking for someone who will give him the life he deserves.

Ashton is a special boy with the coolest hazel eyes and a beautiful lab-like coat and face. Ashton is currently the longest resident at the shelter, but that does not stop him from losing hope or showing love to the volunteers. Although shy at first with new people, Ashton becomes extremely loyal and open once he gets to know you. Ashton is very smart and knows his daily routine. He is housebroken and does his business quickly on his walks. Once outside, he loves to roll around in the grass and stop for pets. Ashton’s hidden talent is that he is amazing at fetch (which not many people know). It’s his favorite activity to play in the yard, and he will play it with any toy. Ashton would do best in a low-traffic home with no young children. Ideally, his future owner is experienced and has a good vet reference. Ashton is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and is waiting patiently to be your new best friend! Don’t count Ashton out just because he is shy! Once he opens up he is a lovely pup!

Escher came to Cameron Animal Rescue after she was given up by a breeder who no longer wanted her. She is sweet, affectionate girl who loves people, and she is looking for her forever home. We don't know what Escher's life was like prior to arrival, but this sweet girl has adjusted wonderfully. Escher loves to play with toys and chase balls in the back yard. And she loves going on long walks- she is wonderful on the leash. She has shown a propensity for climbing (a 5 ft fence!), so she should not be left alone in a backyard. Escher has shown too much interested in chasing cats, and although she is good with some dogs, she is reactive toward otheres. Therefore we think that she should be an only pet. On the other hand, Escher has been wonderful with all of the people that she has met, including young children. Escher is working on house-training, and has been improving, but is not totally house-trained. Escher is approximately 3 years old, and she is healthy. Her adoption fee includes her spay; a full series of 3 DHLPPi (distemper) vaccines, as well as Rabies and Bordetella vaccines; testing for heartworm and tick-bourne diseases; fecal testing and deworming; microchip; 30 days of free pet insurance. Although Escher is healthy at this time, french bulldogs are at great risk of significant medical issues. Therefore we are looking for an adopter with an extensive prior veterinary history. Please note that priority will be given to adopters from Northern NJ/NYC area, however out of state adopters will be considered. Please read the requirements that Escher be a single pet, and that a veterinary history is required.
