Story

Carrots is an owner give up to our rescue. Below is the information her owner gave us initially. I have had Carrots for almost two years now. She has been the most amazing friend I could have asked for. She rarely barks and only lets out an occasional whine if she needs to go out or is wanting some attention. She’s a well behaved for a dog that lives her life with me in a small dorm and can only go out to play fetch or go for a walk when I’m not at class or work. She needs better. In general, she has been amazing for the hand she’s been dealt. I actually couldn’t be more grateful for how well she’s treated me as she’s grown to be near a full two years old!! I am having to part with her because she is still a puppy, and I’m a Junior in college struggling to work and commute on weekends when I have to, and give her the attention she deserves. She’s trained well. She sits on command, she can stay if you ask, she’s house trained, and she’s comfortable with her kennel if needed. She uses a harness for walks and does great. She was trained to walk on the left of you and she’s usually pretty good about staying focused. She has started the process of being an ESA certified dog but has not rec'd her second certification. Her previous owner said that she was around a child once and growled so we do not recommend her with small children. She has never been around cats so we cannot say whether she will or will not be okay arounds feline friends. She would make a great family member for an active family. Hey everyone, meet JoJo! Do you love snacks? Then look no further, because this girl right here, was meant for you. Breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, dinner, midnight snacks are always welcome. This sweet girl has been in a loving home but due to a loss in the family and change in living circumstances, Miss JoJo finds herself looking for another one. She has not been around cats of small children, but has a naturally sweet disposition and gentle temperament. As a predominantly inside dog, JoJo is house trained but is used to spending time outside in a fenced yard. She has a playful personality and has played well with the other small dog that has lived with her. Please consider giving Miss JoJo a forever home to live out the best years of her life. This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was brought in with babies when her owner couldn't take care of her. She was not socialized very well so will need some work. She will need a very patient person to get her to come out of her shell. She was kept outside so she has no house manners, nor has she been with cats. She does do well with dogs her size and seems to like to play with them. She deserves a new chance to be a loved dog and companion. She will take a lot of time and investment but deserves a chance!

Lois is an amazing dog who is looking for her perfect home!! Would you ever imagine that this adorable smiling face had ever been anything but happy?! She seems to have forgotten her past (which was the too often sad story of a mom and her puppies struggling to survive) and is ready for her time in the spotlight. She's been waiting over a year and a half for her chance! Lois is an outgoing, friendly, playful, athletic, bubbly, energetic, happy-go-lucky girl who truly loves playing with her friends. She’s had a few different dog friends (all boys) that she’s played with and she is always up for a game of chase with some zoomies. No girl dogs for her, or cats. She really needs an active household. She’ll keep everyone entertained! Her big smile is just too contagious. Besides a family of her own, Lois also needs a secure, fenced yard. She’s quite the athlete and she likes to show off her athletic prowess. So we want to make sure that she stays safe! Lois is a great size - around 40-45 lb. She’s probably in the 2-3 year old range. She’ll be an amazing dog for the right home! This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. Story

Whiskey came into rescue as a 10-week-old pup in Sept 2023. He came with his sister that was adopted 2 years ago. He is a sweet pup that needs his own family. He is good with other dogs but has not been cat tested. He has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. This sweet boy is so deserving of a loving home. He is not a favorite of leash walking, but usually it's because he is going to the vet. He can only wear a harness as he doesn't like a leash on his neck. Look into his beautiful eyes and see what a sweet soul he has. His adoption fee covers the transport and health certificate to go out of state.
