Story
We DO NOT adopt out of state Faith was one of a litter left on the side of the road at 2-3 weeks old. Her and her sister Hope were hand raised and both are just the sweetest lil pups. They are up to date on shots. Both are working on potty training. They are used to having each other to play with so another pup would be great to have in the home. The inquiry for Petfinder is not our application, You can find that at http://woofpackdogrescue.org/forms/

Story
Male - 5 years - 40 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - NYHi, I’m Ricardo. I’m a 5-year-old, 40 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I use my crate as a safe space mostly; I do not need to be shut in my crate when I am left home alone. I have coexisted well with adults, with a preference for women, though I am very shy and don’t seek much interaction. I will accept calm affection from my foster mom. Most of the time I am happy to people watch from afar. I will need someone willing to be patient as I come around to them and my surroundings in my new home; I had had no or minimal human contact prior to coming to Echo Dogs so this human world is all new to me and I have been trying hard to learn! I love having the company of other dogs and will require at least one confident canine companion to help guide me. I am wonderful about adjusting my play style to match that of the dog I am playing with and all around have good canine social skills. I am also gentle around cats and wouldn’t mind having feline siblings. I have been learning about these things called toys and they’re pretty fun! I especially like the plushy toys and benebones. I have been working hard on leash skills and can now join on quiet outings! I may get nervous at times and need gentle encouragement. I am still pretty uncomfortable with car rides so that is also a work in progress. I have learned to reliably come to my foster mom when she calls me. I currently take clomicalm to help me manage my anxiety. I am a gentle-natured boy who is ready to find a patient human ready to help me continue navigating this human world—could you be my human(s)? Story
Male - 18 months - 59 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - TXHi there! My name is Rocket and I am an 18-month-old, 59 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when left home alone. I am a friendly boy who does well with men, women, and older children. While I haven’t shown any behaviors that would indicate I’d not do well with small children, I haven’t been around any to know for sure. I am a leaner and will push into you for affection and rubs! I am welcoming to visitors to our home. I have done well with other dogs of both sexes and could do well with canine siblings or by myself. I will try to intercept other dogs getting affection so I can claim it all for myself so my foster dad has been working with me to learn there is enough affection for everyone. I like to run around the yard with my toys, especially a good frisbee! I am still learning that giving my frisbee back is required for it to be thrown. I cannot go to a home with cats. I like car rides and getting the chance to get out and about to play with my human! I pull slightly on leash and get excited when we see another dog, so my leash skills are a work in progress. I have learned how to sit and down on cue. I would love  to continue learning! I am a playful, sweet guy who is ready for a family of my own. Story
Male - 10 months - 52 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - VAHi there! My name is Silver and I am a 10-month-old, 52 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am still young so I need to be crated when I am unsupervised. I love people! I have met both men and women with enthusiasm. I love to crawl into your lap for affection and will give hugs. I would love a home where I can spend plenty of time with my family and be involved in activities. I am happy to welcome visitors to our home. I can be pushy with other dogs and am selective about my canine friends. I have shown resource guarding of food / chew items towards other animals and barrier reactivity towards unknown dogs, which is something to be aware of. I would do best as an only dog or with a socially adept female dog. I have a strong prey drive so cannot go to a home with cats. I love toys—anything I can chew on will work! I would be happy to play fetch with you. I would love to have a yard where I can run! I am an intelligent boy who would love to find a family willing and able to dedicate time to continuing my training! I have learned sit and come with my foster family. I walk fairly well on leash and only pull slightly. I unfortunately get sick on car rides so they aren’t the most enjoyable for me. I am  a happy, loving boy who would love to find my perfect adoptive family? Could that be with you? Story
Female - 16 months - 45 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - MAHello! My name is Willoughby and I am a 16-month-old, 45 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when left home alone at my foster home. I have done well with men, women, and older children after proper introductions. I can be standoffish initially until I know you better, then I enjoy receiving affection. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have done well meeting other dogs and wouldn’t mind having a playful sibling or two. I love to play with toys and am not picky about what kind! I cannot go to a home with cats. I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS: I had a cardiology workup due to a detected grade II—III heart murmur. I was diagnosed with cardiomegaly, valvular dysplasia, and left ventricular hypertrophy & aortic dilation. Some of these may be normal variations. My cardiologist stated no restrictions or medications are indicated at this time, but I will require yearly echocardiograms with a cardiologist to monitor my heart health throughout my life. I enjoy car rides and getting out with my humans! I would love to find a family willing to spend time training with me so that I can join you on adventures. I only pull slightly on leash, though I am still learning how to calmly pass other dogs when out and about. I would love to find my perfect adoptive family—is that with you?
