Bradford is a 1-year and 8-month old mixed breed weighing 43 pounds, and this handsome boy is ready to charm his way right into your heart! With his sweet personality and gentle nature, Bradford is the kind of dog who’s happiest simply being close to his people. Whether he’s leaning in for pets or sitting faithfully by your side, he loves spending time with the humans he cares about most.
One of Bradford’s favorite pastimes is watching the world go by from the window. He’s a curious boy who enjoys keeping an eye on everything happening outside, and it’s hard not to smile when you catch him happily observing his surroundings. He’s also incredibly smart and very food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Bring out the treats, and Bradford is ready to learn!

When I arrived at Anderson Animal Shelter from their partner shelter in Oklahoma, I tested positive for Heartworm.
The staff believes that the best place for Heartworm positive dogs like me to be while going through treatments and recovering is with a loving and forever family like yours.
If you choose to adopt me, the clinic staff will be with you every step of the way, answering questions and offering support.
The process from detection to the final treatment is generally three months and involves some simple at-home steps to keep me safe while I recover. The last step in the process is a follow-up test six months after my treatment begins.
The Heartworm treatment process is highly successful and the staff anticipates that I will fully recover! Yeah! And you should know that Heartworm can only be transmitted from animal to animal by mosquitoes.

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
