Story
Hi, I’m Rizzoli—your future professional shadow! I’m a soulful, low-maintenance gal who has officially mastered the art of "home life." If you’re looking for a cuddle partner, I’m your girl. Whether we’re lounging on the sofa or I’m tucked in next to you while you read, I just want to be near my people. I love meeting new people, but prefer an adult only home as children can be scary. I can be a little shy at first, but if you move slowly and have a treat ready, we’ll be best friends in no time. I’m a dream on a stroll! I’m very easy to guide and love a calm walk (just keep a firm grip on my leash as I like to chase bunnies) I’m a smart girl who already knows "No," "Off," and "Uh-uh." I’m still practicing "Sit" and "Come," though I never wander far anyway. Ready to meet me? I spend time between the shelter and my foster home. If you want to say hello, just stop by Tails—my foster can have me there in minutes!

Story
Meet Ashton, a sensitive soul looking for a patient human to help her step into her full confidence! Ashton is what we fondly call a "project dog"—she takes a bit of time to adjust to the big, wide world, but the rewards of earning her trust are unmatched. She’s already showing her tender side with gentle hand licks, and while fast movements can startle her, she relaxes when you go slow and steady. Ashton will bloom best in a calm home where her people are around often to give her the routine, safety, and reassurance she needs to come out of her shell. Now, if you’re looking for a silent roommate, Ashton would like to submit a passionate objection—mostly because she is a total diva with a lot to say! She loves using her vocal talents to express herself, so a home with a yard and forgiving neighbors (rather than an apartment with shared walls) will be the perfect venue for her daily serenades. Beneath her shy exterior and enthusiastic barking lies a timid girl just waiting for the right mentor. If you have a soft spot for the underdogs and the patience to watch a quiet heart blossom, Ashton is ready to start her fresh chapter with you!

Story
Meet Violet, a sweet and timid Husky looking for a patient home where she can build her confidence. Having started life in a puppy mill, Violet relies heavily on other dogs to feel safe and navigate the world; she currently won’t approach humans unless a canine friend leads the way. Because of this, she is looking for a home with a playful resident dog who can handle her energetic Husky play style and show her the ropes. Violet is house trained, loves the security of her crate, and is still working on her leash manners (she’s a puller!). With a confident dog mentor and a gentle adopter, this diamond in the rough is ready to truly blossom. Stop in to meet her.
