Story
Hi, I’m Zane! I’m an active senior who still has every little bit of pep-in-his-step and is always up for an adventure. I enjoy treats, playing outside, and walks. I'm a curious boy who wants to explore, and am always down for a good car ride too! I love having my humans all to myself, so I would do best in a home where I don’t have to compete with other animals or tiny humans for your affection. If you’re looking for a loyal and devoted adventure buddy, look no further! I hope you come visit me soon!

Story
Handsome, happy, and ready to be your new best friend! ?? I’m Jameson, a guy with a big zest for life and an even bigger love for fun. One of my favorite things is leaning into you for good body rubs and scratches — I soak up affection like a pro. I enjoy fetch, toys, tug-of-war, and long walks, and I’d love a human friend to share adventures with. After a bit of exercise, I’m more than happy to relax with you and enjoy some serious snuggle time. I also get along well with other dogs, especially ones my size who like playful, rowdy fun. I’ve lived happily indoors, am house trained, know “come” and other basic commands, and I’m continuing to learn more. I’m friendly, social, and love everyone I meet. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving gentleman with lots of love to give, I might just be your guy. ??

Story
Hi! I’m Georgia, sometimes called Georgia May. I came to Tails pregnant, and little is known about my past. I was found as a stray in an abandoned house. My labor was very difficult, and I had an emergency C-section—but now I have seven healthy puppies and am a patient, loving mom. Now that my pups are growing, I’m ready to be a happy, carefree dog! I’m laid-back, love cuddles, and enjoy walks (I walk well on a leash—except when squirrels or cars distract me!). I know “sit” and “paw,” and am calm around other dogs and cats. I adore humans but can be protective of my toys so I'd do best in a home without small humans with a relaxed environment for introductions. And the best part? My two different colored eyes and my amazing smile! Come meet me and maybe give me a forever home.

Story
Gentle boy looking for a confident dog sibling and dog savvy forever family! Meet Fletcher who needs a little time and understanding. He is shy, quiet, and reserved by his nature and might have been overlooked with so many other dogs to compete with. He has been living in a foster home but could use more space to exercise (the foster has a very small yard) and a confident dog to live with to be a bridge between him and humans. He is very sweet and we just know there is a tremendous personality in there! We even see it on the baby monitor when he doesn't know we are watching. He plays and tosses his toys around- even wags a beautiful tail all around. He just needs to find his forever home and start healing. He is currently in a foster home. Please call Tails at 815-758-2457 or email info@tailshumanesociety.org to schedule a time to meet him at the fosters home.
