Story
To SUBMIT an APPLICATION go to K9Lifeline.com  Bugsy is a little, smart, energetic, bundle of brindle, bug eyed joy!  He is currently about 10 weeks old and almost 9 pounds, he will be a medium size dog full grown (26-50). YES that IS a Picture of His precious MOMMA who'll be up for adoption also, Bambi is a 20 pound Lemon Beagle, Dad is unknown. Bugsy loves playing with the big dogs he currently resides with. He may look small but he has no fear and will jump right into the middle of any tussle. He loves playing with and chewing on his toys. His favorite hobby is collecting things (toys, shoes, blankets, clothes) and hoarding them into a pile then laying on it. He would make a great companion dog. He always follows his foster mom from room to room, making sure he knows where she is at all times. When he sleeps, he’s usually either snuggled up to one of his people or his doggie companions. He has been introduced to cats and is very interested in them. He would love to play with them but the cats are not too fond of the idea. He would do best in a home with someone looking for an Active breed who is home quite a bit. A home where he has a dog brother or sister to keep him company would be a plus as he loves dogs of all sizes. Please Submit an Application if you are interested in Adopting this puppy. He is ready to go home tomorrow.  We do not hold dogs. The donation for this dog is 345.00. Adult dogs are MICROCHIPPED and FULLY VETTED for about 1 Year. Story
If you are a 100% Match SUBMIT an APPLICATION at K9Lifeline.com. Curly Sue, what a precious soul she is. All she wants is the perfect owner/family who will love her unconditionally for life 13+ more years, Curly Sue is about 2 years old & 9 pounds. Curly Sue is an Active girl with compliments of mellow, chill, a go with the flow type of dog. She is gentle, affectionate & warmhearted. One of her favorite things to do is curl in your lap for hugs & belly rubs! Curly Sue has Never been mean with humans or dogs even when scared. Curly Sue loves running, playing & chasing other dogs around her size (we do not know how she would react to bigger dogs, normal or scared) Curly Sue plays fetch & tug with her human. On her own she Loves chewing on plush squeaky/krinkley toys but the problem is... She chews the stuffing out of them so you'll need to be prepared to replenish her toy stock on a regular basis. lol She likes chewing on bully sticks as her big treat of the day, she is a tough chewer so she gets the bully about an hour a day (she cannot be given anything that will splinter). Curly Sue is Never left unsupervised with toys or bully sticks because of the above. She has a variety of Nylabones that have tolerated her chewing! She has not chewed on anything other than what's for her. Curly Sue is crated when left home alone & for feedings but she is still fearful with the crate. She is well behaved & house broken. Curly Sue follows the other dogs outside into the fenced yard where they all run together, she absolutely loves it. A PHYSICAL FENCED Yard is REQUIRED to adopt her. Curly Sue likes playing fetch & wrestles with her human. Curly Sue has Not been around cats, we do not have any way to test her with them. She knows her name well. When meeting new people Curly Sue is cautious/reserved & gets spooked by loud unexpected noises, a quieter home with no kids is what she needs. Curly Sue sleeps on the bed at the foot throughout the night. Curly Sue is not a dog who licks your face all the time, she's reserved with her kisses. Cairn Terriers are sensible, independent, and friendly dogs who excel as family companions. Compact and affectionate, these dogs do well in apartments and large homes with novice pet parents and experienced dog lovers, alike. They do, however, have high energy and will need their humans to keep them active with walks and play sessions. Cairn Terriers don’t enjoy being left home alone for long hours during the day, so make sure you can provide them with plenty of love and attention for their well-being if you decide that this is the breed for you. If you are a 100% Match SUBMIT an APPLICATION at K9Lifeline.com. The donation for this dog is 395.00. Adult dogs are MICROCHIPPED and FULLY VETTED for about 1 Year. Story
To SUBMIT an APPLICATION go to K9Lifeline.com Apollo is such a huge cuddler and a big love bug. Apollo will want to be by your side, sitting under your feet while you work or snuggled up next to you on the couch, he loves his people. He's 1 year old & apx. 55 #. As you see he has unique markings & surely will stand out in the crowd! Apollo has lots of energy, he loves playing with my other dogs out in the fenced backyard, therefore a physical fenced yard + another dog that likes to play is Required to adopt him. Apollo especially loves a good game of tug-of-war with dogs or humans. He is crate trained. He will bark, for a few minutes, until he realizes he's in a safe, cozy environment, then settles down. Apollo is housebroken he will bark when he needs to be let outside! What a bonus huh?! Outdoors he runs & barks the fence line with the neighbor's dogs. He will come running inside, with excitement, wanting a treat when called! Another bonus! We are working on not jumping up on people this would be a concern for small children so keep that in mind. Apollo is a great listener who responds well to positive treat training. He would be a great dog to take to the park for some playing, frisbee, catch. His ability to jump is definitely a plus. I named him Apollo Ohno after one of the fastest speed skaters. I bet this guy will have a blast swimming. His favorite spot indoors is on the back of the couch. Apollo would love a family looking for an active, outgoing, friendly family dog who would give him the love & dedication that he deserves 13+ years. Go to K9Lifeline.com to Submit an Application. Story
Hello, my name is Deanne Summers My father in law was recently diagnosed with stage 4, terminal lung cancer. He owns a Rottweiler, German Shepherd mix male dog, named Bruno. Bruno is 3-4 years old, who is a bit timid and a scaredy cat. I am heartbroken writing this email because I am huge dog lover. My family currently has two dogs and two cats. I would love to take Bruno into my home, however, my husband will not let me keep him. He is a hyper boy, who needs a lot of attention. He loves to play ball and takes walks with me. My father in law didn’t do any type of activities like this with him. So when he went into he hospital, I started walking him 3 times a day . We have been doing this since September 29th of this year. He can now walk nicely on a leash. He can walk past people on our walks and not be scared. He really has come so far. However, he still needs a loving home who would be willing to work with him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.9-11-2023 Winnie has adjusted well in her foster home.  Now that she has been with APOL for a month we better understand her needs. Winnie is looking for an active family with children 10 years or older. She is full of spirit and wants to play 24/7. We feel it best if she is the only dog in the home.  And NO cats! Winnie would love a family that would take her on scheduled walks once or twice a day. She can be an escape artist so a 5' securely fenced yard is a must. Winnie is still a puppy and would benefit greatly from puppy training classes to help her become the best dog she can be. Winifred came into rescue thru no fault of her own.  Her mommy is terminally ill and could no longer care for her. She asked A Promise of Love to take her in.  A Promise of Love wrapped their wings around Winnie and brought her into rescue. Winnie is a very playful 8 month old puppy that loves attention, hugs, and tummy scratches. She is in the process of being completely potty trained. She does use pee pads and does go outside to do her business. Winnie is a Poodle/Yorkie mix and is due to be groomed. She has been spayed and microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, including bordatella. Winnie does need a securely fenced yard, she loves to explore.  She is a typical active puppy and needs a home where she can be her normal puppy self  and get the training and socialization that all puppies need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2023, 12:19 am
