Story
Freyja is a 2 year old female Cane Corso. She has lived on a farmette with her 3 other fur siblings and lots of feathered friends. She is a beautiful girl and has not been spayed. Freyja will need vaccinations if she will be living in a populated area. Loves to cuddle and always waggin’ her little nubbin’ to show how happy she is to see you. Freyja is crate trained and finds that to be her safe place. She is house broken and loves the outside and water. Freyja would do best with an experienced adopter of the breed. If she should have to share her new human with another fur friend, she kindly asks for a slow introduction.

Story
Hi! My name is Ace! I acquired my name from the lost boys from the movie Hook. I will be 4 years old this June. I really love tons of attention. I love baking in the sun and rolling around outside. I was born in Texas, so I love the heat. I do get cold very easily so my momma always has a fleece on me in the winter months and a T-shirt on inside. I’ve been living in Illinois since I was 8 weeks old. My family of 5 humans (3 children), my best friend Ruffio (Olde English Bulldogge), weird little creature Finn (Orange Tabby) and two fish. I am house trained and sleep in my crate. I will say though, I can’t resist human food and I’ve stolen a few pizzas off the counter when my humans left the room. I’m in need of a new home because my canine brother and I haven’t been seeing eye to eye the past two years. Even though I’ve been with him since I was a pup. I have a ton of energy and well he just doesn’t like to play as much. I’m assuming I will need my new home to be just for me.

Story
Clyde came in with his friend Bonnie.  These poor dogs were left in a public restroom tied up.  Clyde had chewed through his leash but didn't leave Bonnie.  That being said, now that they are safe and comfortable they really aren't that attached and would probably do better separated.  Clyde does best with dogs his size or bigger and needs a slow introduction, he would be great all by himself, soaking up all the people attention.  He loves to play, especially fetch and has tons of energy to burn off.  He still needs some work on his manners but is doing much better on his chewing and seems to be housebroken and is working on his basic commands.  He has not met a cat yet and is most likely too much for them.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500 To adopt Clyde email us at kakf3133@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 2:12 pm

Story
Lexie is a 5-8 year old golden retriever/shepherd mix who loves all the people.  She is very loyal, smart, and affectionate.  She would do great as an only pet but with training and socialization she has gotten to like the other dogs in her foster home and with the right introduction would be fine with another dog.  She has never met a cat though.  Lexi is great with children of all ages and loves to be pet and get attention from everyone she meets.  She play fetch, sits, gives pay, and is easily trainable.  She is housebroken, does well in the car and on a leash.  She is very smart and is looking for her forever home.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  Lexie came to us positive for heartworm but has completed her treatments and is now heartworm negative.    Her adoption fee is $400 To adopt Lexie email us at kakf3133@gmail.comJanuary 6, 2025, 11:08 am

Story
Remington is a Australian Shepherd mix who turns 11 in Jan 2025.  He would do best in an active home or with a "job".  He knows all of his commands and will proudly show you all his tricks for a treat.  He has a great coat that is easy to manage compared to most Aussie's and is a sweet heart for grooming.  Remington needs to be in a home without small kids, he has had little exposure to kids and can be reactive to quick motions.  We do believe with time and training he can work through it.  Once he has adjusted he becomes a cuddle bug.  He has lived with other dogs his whole life but can be selective of new dogs.  He does not seem interested in cats but to our knowledge has never lived with them.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   His adoption fee is $400 To adopt Remington, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comDecember 22, 2024, 10:02 pm

Story
Buck is a complete goof ball, he flops around with a huge smile on his face.  He loves following around other dogs and would benefit from a friend to learn more commands from.  He would spend all day chasing other dogs in the yard if he could.  Buck is crate trained and mostly potty trained.  He does not chew or tear apart toys.  He does great with kids but is a puppy still (Turns 1 in Oct 2024), so he might be too much for little kids, and he doesn't understand how to be gentle with cats either and does try to play with them (which they usually don't like).  Buck is still a bit skittish, but once he warms up he is a loving lap dog.  He knows "inside" and "crate", but is still learning other basic commands.  Buck overall is just a happy go lucky pup!  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. His adoption fee is $500 To adopt Buck, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 2:12 pm
