Rusty is lovable, well-behaved, and oh so handsome! He is house trained and will even ring a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He is crate-trained and has no problem going in his crate for bedtime, when he is left alone, or when he wants to take a nap in peace! He gets along great with other dogs and would do well with older children. Rusty is a sweet guy who is really excited to find his forever family. He's been with us for a long time, simply because there are too many dogs out there looking for homes this year. But he knows his time is coming soon. Rusty is a joy and loves snuggling on the couch, watching TV, belly rubs, long walks, and being outside. Rusty is a well-behaved dog and very eager to learn. He responds well and quick to training and verbal directions. He walks great on a leash, is bell trained, and has mastered sit, down, off, and wait commands. Rusty is great in a variety of social situations. He goes out in public weekly, including eating out, visiting other homes, and walks in public places.He can be shy and may need a warm-up period with people depending on the situation. Rusty loves other dogs. He has frequent dog visitors and they play together well. Rusty loves to run and play outside; a fenced yard would be best for him. He loves to hike; he hikes and walks well with multiple dogs. Rusty would love an owner willing to spend time getting to know him and get him comfortable in a new home environment, and perhaps has a mentor dog to befriend and play with. Rusty is available for adoption; Foster to adopt is also an option where you can date him and see if he is a good fit for your family. Luna is energetic, fun and a good pal to have when you are feeling down. He has been a part of our family for almost 6 years, and we have loved his company. Before we moved out here we had a large yard he loved running around in. He can play fetch for hours. We unfortunately won't be able to keep his due to his needs for frequent excessive and my inability to provide it to him. He deserves a home with a family that will be able to keep up with him, or has the means to provide a large yard so he can run all day long.
