Story
Meet Sol ☀️ Sol is the definition of a gentle soul. This sweet girl may not be the dog that runs up to greet you on day one—in fact, she can be quite shy and nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new situations. The world can feel a little overwhelming to her at first, but if you're willing to give her patience, understanding, and time, you'll get to watch her beautiful personality slowly shine through. Once Sol begins to trust you, she enjoys gentle pets, peaceful companionship, and simply being near her people. She finds comfort in routine and loves spending time in her kennel, which she considers her safe space. You'll often find her relaxing there with the door open, choosing to retreat when she needs a little quiet time. Sol is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and absolutely loves her daily walks. They help her build confidence and feel more secure in the world. She also enjoys lounging outside in the sunshine, watching the world go by from a window, and collecting stuffed animals. Her one weakness? Squirrels! She may get excited when she spots one, but she's responsive and redirects well. This lovely girl gets along with cats and does best with smaller dogs, as larger dogs can make her nervous. She would be happiest in a calm home with older, respectful children who understand that she needs space and time to warm up. Sol isn't motivated by treats or food, and she's not food aggressive, but she does appreciate privacy while eating. She's looking for someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. If you're the kind of person who believes the best relationships are worth waiting for, Sol just might be your perfect match. Watching her grow in confidence and learn that she's finally safe is a reward unlike any other.

Story
Meet Frido ❤️ Frido's story is one of resilience, patience, and learning that not every human is something to fear. When Frido first arrived, it was clear life hadn't always been kind to him. He carries a large scar across his lower back—a reminder of a past we may never fully know. He was terrified of everything. His tail stayed tucked, he never made a sound, and even the smallest movement could send him scrambling for safety. But little by little, Frido has started to discover what it means to feel safe. Today, his tail proudly comes up on walks, he occasionally finds his voice in the yard, and he's even beginning to learn how to play. He's still figuring it out, and his play style can be a little rough around the edges, but watching him learn how to simply be a dog has been incredibly rewarding. Frido is potty trained, walks well on leash, and is very food motivated, making him a great candidate for continued confidence-building and training. He gets along well with smaller dogs and would do best with older, respectful children who understand that trust takes time. His kennel is his favorite place in the world—a safe haven where he can relax and decompress whenever he needs to. While Frido has made tremendous progress, he's not a dog who will trust overnight. He needs a patient adopter who will let him move at his own pace, celebrate the small victories, and understand that earning his trust is a journey. The reward? Watching a dog who once lived in fear slowly realize he's finally home. If you have a calm heart, a little patience, and a lot of love to give, Frido may be waiting for you.

Story
Meet Pecan — a sweet, slightly nutty teenage pup (just under a year old) who’s ready to bring joy into your life. Pecan has an easygoing, good-natured personality that makes him a breeze to be around. He is good with kids! And he loves meeting new people. Fits right in wherever he goes, rarely barking and always keeping things calm and friendly. He attenda doggie daycare regularly where he is a staff favorite- usually found chillaxing on a kuranda dog bed or hanging out low key with his playgroup buds. A grear coexistor dog! He’s playful when it’s time for fun, bringing just the right amount of energy — but he’s just as happy to unwind afterward, relaxing on a cozy rug with a bone and recharging by your side. Pecan is also a fantastic travel buddy. He rides quietly in the car like a seasoned co-pilot, making him perfect for errands or adventures. Well-mannered and gentle, he takes treats (even the occasional French fry!) with a soft touch, walks nicely on a leash, and can be comfortably crated when needed. If you’re looking for a loving, laid-back companion with a playful spark, Pecan might be your perfect match. Just a heads-up: side effects may include constant smiling and a newfound appreciation for all things nutty.
