Story
Tippy, her brother and sister, and her mom were all dumped in Lavaca County, Texas. The Lavaca County Sheriff found her and her family, so you know what that means. She rode in a Sheriff’s patrol cruiser, which technically means she’s had a run in with the law. Tippy can take one look at you and make you melt, just like ice in the Texas heat. . She needs a dedicated forever home who’s going to see to it that this beautiful girl has many years ahead of couch surfing, puppy-dog-eye staring contest, full tummy/tummy rubs, and loving and committed care. Adopt her quick to get her used to dogs and cats, though she’s such a cool character, they’ll have to get used to her cuteness overload. . Tippy loves to fetch and loves toys of all kinds To save Tippy’s life, apply at Hooves and Hounds Rescue at https://forms.gle/wCdb5tDgtWHaLnBq8

For millions of dogs and cats, it has been the difference between life and death.Wright-Way Rescue's mission is a little different than most. We focus a significant portion of our efforts on saving pets throughout RURAL AMERICA. It is in these extremely remote locations that help and hope for homeless pets is still at a minimum. Often times our shelter is their only chance of being accepted into an adoption program and receiving the care they need.Wright-Way Rescue adopts more dogs into homes per year than any other shelter in IL. We do so on approximately 10% of the budget of similarly sized operations. Each dollar donated is stretched to the max to provide aid to homeless pets and support the rural communities we partner with. We know that helping to create compassionate communities where resources are generally lacking is key to leading the US to become a country who no longer kills pets simply because they do not have a home.Thank you for considering adoption through Wright-Way Rescue, a NO-KILL animal rescue. If you have any questions or concerns throughout your adoption experience, do not hesitate to contact our organization.Sincerely,Wright-Way Rescue

Meet Millie!Millie has completed our Wright-Way Rescue training program with honors!! Our training program allows dogs like Millie to become comfortable with the routines of the rescue, and continue to learn about what life will be like in a home! Through the completion of this program, Millie hopes this enables her to find her family.Millie is a very intelligent, gentle and loyal girl, who loves playing fetch, anything that involves water and her toys! She does well around other dogs when on she is on a walk or out on a new adventure, but prefers to be the only dog in a home. She loves to give kisses to her favorite people, and did we mention how smart she is?? Some other commands Millie knows includes; sit, paw, lay down, come & fetch! She loves car rides and would make an excellent companion to your home!
