Gunther is a very handsome boy that was dumped on the side of a busy corner on a country road. He was dumped with three of his siblings that were caught by the dog warden. Gunther had to be trapped by Rico Pet Recovery because he was so scared. He has beautiful blue eyes and he's really not a very big dog. He loves to play with puppies and young dogs and is doing really well with all other dogs also. He's been fully vetted. He still a little shy when he first meets people so he needs someone who will be patient with him. He's ready to be pampered now for the rest of his life. Apply to meet Gunther at Ricopetrecovery.org

Story
Look at that Mona Lisa smile!Miss Mona Lisa has gone through a life of living on the run and is looking for a kind family to take her in so she can enjoy life now. For years, she had litter after litter of puppies. When a neighbor reported that she, as a stray, was running around their neighborhood, Rico Pet Recovery stepped in to humanely trap her. She went to live with one of our wonderful fosters who found out that she was pregnant and helped her deliver her final litter of puppies. Fast forward to now and this sweet 4-5 year old black lab mix is still looking for a family. She wants to learn how to live a life with lots of toys and naps in the sunshine, or snuggled up next to you. She lived briefly with a foster who had a 2-year old and she was great with him. She's curious about cats, but will listen to the word 'no' when she's around them. This sweet girl wants to please, but will need patience as she learns how to fit into your family. Her life on the run still leaves her itching for adventure though. Mona Lisa MUST go to an adopter who has a fenced in yard and who will ensure that she wears a harness she can't slip out of on walks. She learned how to be quite the escape artist while she was a stray and we want to ensure that once this sweet girl joins your family, she is secure.Mona Lisa is about 50-60 pounds of wonderful softness. Apply at ricopetrecovery.org. Her adoption fee is $250.
