Not good with kids,
Story
Irie and her brother Huck came to Homeward Bound because their human mom and dad couuld no longer care for them due to health issues. But that’s okay we are happy to have them. Irie is 9 years old, and fully vetted. Both are heartworm negative. They have lived a great deal of the time indoors with the owners so it was a pleasant surprise when they were walked how well they did on a leash and knew what the grass was for. They are bonded and will be kenneled together for the near future. The hope for them is to be adopted together. The adoption fee is 400 for both.~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org. Story
Sweetpea got her name by being truly the SWEETEST dog you could ask for. In summer of 2023 she was dumped on a dirt road in Franklin County where a kind dog lover noticed her roaming the area and provided her with food and winter shelter. In Dec 2023, Sweetpea had a litter of puppies, which were adopted out to furever homes through DRDR. Sweetpea is scheduled to be spayed May 2nd and will be available for adoption after she has had sufficient time to heal from her procedure. She is housebroken and gets along with children and other dogs. It is unknown how she does with cats. On April 24th she started crate training and walking on a leash. She is eager to please and has high potential to learn tricks. To meet or adopt Sweetpea, please submit an adoption application at www.dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org. ##2035902##
